Configuring Inside and Outside laser strokes

The ColorPicker V3 panel lets you enable Laser Cut only when the production job needs it.

01

Laser Cut starts disabled

The Enable Laser Cut checkbox is OFF by default. When it stays off, the script performs matching and placement without creating laser strokes.

02

Inside and Outside stroke widths

When enabled, Inside Stroke defaults to 1 pt and Outside Stroke defaults to 2 pt. Enter positive widths appropriate for your workflow.

03

Choose both stroke colors

Each stroke has a color picker and the panel shows the selected hexadecimal value. Defaults are black (#000000) for Inside and white (#FFFFFF) for Outside.

04

Use a dedicated output layer

The output layer defaults to LASER CUT. When Laser Cut is enabled, the script clears existing items in the selected output layer before placing the new stroke copies. Do not keep unrelated artwork in that layer.

05

Layer order and source geometry

White is placed underneath black by default. The outlines come from successfully placed closed design silhouettes, not from the pattern itself.

06

Inspect and save manually

Review the geometry, colors, stroke widths and layer contents before cutting. The script does not save or export the document automatically.
